Fellow Members and Comrades, on behalf of your Executive Committee, I would like to thank you for your continued support of your Association, without your support we would become non-effective.
I would also like to thank all of you that attended both the Birthday Dinner/Dance and Octoberfest both of which were very successful.
Our Monthly Luncheons which occur the Wednesday of the month are also well attended and give us the opportunity to reminisce and remember the time we served together. Your executive is always available to you should you have any queries or suggestions that you may want to pass on.
Since our last report, we unfortunately lost several of our members and they are as follows: Tom Martin, Chuck Cowell, John Schavchook, Keith Coughlin, Joe Webb, Iian Gilmore, George Randall, Don Cruikshank, Pat McEachern, Ed Widenmaier, & Ken Cotton. They are all now in a better place, may they Rest In Peace.
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the Langford Legion from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and hope that you can attend.
Also, at this time I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mike Cuvelier who continues to look after our website, Ron Bisson who looks after the Kit Shop and has a limited supply of items should you require something. Last but not least, thanks to Jim Bell, who looks after our Museum which is located in Naden and is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
In closing thank you to the Executive for their time and dedication to the Association, but also to you, the Membership for your continued support, this is the main reason we are a strong and viable organization. All best of good health, happiness and prosperity to you all in the coming year.
